Conferences at Hall Place

Situated within the beautifully landscaped grounds of the Berkshire College of Agriculture is Hall Place, a unique venue with a wide variety of meeting rooms available.

Catering for as few as 10 to as many as 200 delegates, the rooms vary from the classical, such as the William East Room, to the more modern Courtyard Lecture Room.

There are three meeting rooms situated within the Mansion itself. The William East Room, which dates from the mid-18th century, is richly decorated and can seat up to 80 delegates theatre style, or up to 130 guests for a finger buffet.

Leading off it is the Salter Chalker room, which can be used as a breakout room, or is ideal for a boardroom meeting for up to 16 delegates.

The third room, The Jacob Bancks Room, combines early Georgian and Victorian features, and is a serene formal room, appropriate for boardroom meetings and presentations.

A short walk from the Mansion is the dedicated Conference Centre. Its first floor conference hall is easily accessible via lift, and has seating for 200 delegates theatre style, or up to 120 in cabaret/dinner style. This flexible venue can be set up to meet your particular needs, with the two-storey building also featuring a fully licensed bar.

On the back lawn we are also able to offer our clients the option of having a marquee to seat up to 400 delegates. With access through the Mansion, this option is guaranteed to impress your delegates and provide a unique setting for your conference.

When you book your conference with us, you are receiving more than just a standard day delegate package. Our staff pride themselves on attention to detail and our aim is to be flexible, to listen to your requirements and advise you on your event to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

We will ensure that your delegates are provided with everything they might require to enjoy a successful and productive meeting in the beautiful surroundings of Hall Place.
