Weddings at Hall Place

Hall Place provides a unique setting for weddings and receptions.

At the end of an impressive half-mile drive, the Bridal Party arrive at the foot of the steps leading to the front of the Georgian mansion.

Photographs can be taken here, on the lawns or in the ornamental gardens surrounding the Mansion.

The Entrance Hall is an ideal reception area where drinks can be served to your guests on arrival. A wide variety of menus are offered, as a self-service buffet or waitress-served meal. All floral displays can also be provided.

The William East Room, dating from the mid-18th century, is richly decorated with stucco relief’s against a background of Wedgwood green, this classic room can seat up to 80 guests for a formal meal or served buffet, or up to 130 guests with drinks or a finger buffet.

The Salter Chalker room, leading off the William East Room, can be used for additional seating or for the setting out of food.

Both rooms overlook the wide green sward of the back lawn and have direct access to a broad terrace with its view of the Estate and surrounding woodland. A marquee can be placed adjacent to the William East Room to provide extra seating and to facilitate dancing.
