Proceed up the impressive half-mile drive and you arrive at the steps of the Grade 1 Georgian mansion – the perfect location for photographs while drinks and canapés are served on the spacious front lawn.
Step inside, and you’ll discover the William East Room is an equally ideal setting for your wedding breakfast. Dating from the mid-18th century and gloriously decorated with stucco reliefs against a background of rich Wedgwood green, this classic room can seat up to 80 guests.
The adjoining Salter Chalker Room can readily be used to accommodate an additional 20 guests, or as the location of a bar. Both rooms overlook the lush green sward of the back lawn and offer direct access to a spacious terrace affording a panoramic view of the Estate and the surrounding woodland. Alternatively, a marquee can easily be situated adjacent to the William East Room to provide plenty of space for extra seating and a dance floor.
